I was looking for some PHP code to generate thumbnails for a different site I was working on. I am trying to have a page that lists all the sites in a blog network. While I was looking around I found a cool web site thumbnail generator at shrink the web.

I also noticed that they have a series of plugins including a cool Wordpress plugin that does the same thing that Snapshots does. But the plugin at Shrink the Web is much easier to use within a Wordpress blog.

So if you want little bubble popups of other site thumbnails on your links then check it out. You can also set the popup bubbles to me automatic or manual which is nice.

You have to get an access key and a secret key, but it’s free and you can have up to 15,000 thumbnails generated per month.
